The Ford/Oracle Task System (FTS) was another early project I did during my time in the
automotive group. My Technical Team Leader liked the Asset Tracking System I just completed,
so he asked for a simple system to track follow-up actions for the Ford Account.
The system stored simple data such as the person requesting the action, who received the request
and when, and who it was assigned to.
It turned out to be very helpful since there was only myself, another sales consultant and our
team leader dedicated to the Ford account. We often went to different
buildings and met with different people, so we had to keep track of follow up questions and actions
that might've been better handled by another team member.
